I happened not to watch news since yesterday afternoon. All day today we were out at the beach, when I came back I had to run around to cook something to eat. Around 9 PM my brother called me from NY. "Did you have an earthquake again?" - he asked. I was puzzled and asked him, where he heard it from. He said that it was on the news from Moscow, Russia. They only mention the state of CA and the magnitude, so he assumed it was us. Thanks to the news crew from Moscow I found out what happened under my nose. ;0))))) It is funny, because I did not even planned to watch local news, but only from Russia tonight. Never thought they would be THAT informative.;0) Olga |

It was North from SF, right? I don't know how much it was down here in San Jose, but I also had no idea. I actually learned about it from exchange on Internet "Oh, that lamp was moving"....
CA is fun; after all, it goes with the territory :))

We also learned about the earthquake on Segodnya. Funny to learn about something that happens not so far from you, on Russian TV :)) I guess we should start watching some local news in addition to HTB ;) |
