The worlds most expensive lunch

The worlds most expensive lunch. And it's not at Amaroo, it's at The Eagle Club in Gstaad. This place is so exclusive that someone like rawat wouldn't be allowed within 100 yards of it. Can you imagine? A place too exclusive for even the Lord of the Universe to be able to make a reservation! LOL

I imagine rawat must consider himself to be royalty of a sort(?!). How distressing it must be for him to be a virtual unknown compared with the real movers and shakers of the world. The real "world leaders", celebrities, jetsetters, etc. obviously aren't even aware of rawats existence.

Even without knowing about his job as a cult leader, no one of any consequence would want anything to do with rawat. Why would they? Money will obviously only get you so far in this world.

Oh come on

'It was David Niven that introduced my parents to Gstaad,' he says, grandly. 'And David and Sir Roger did a film together, of course, and then my parents starting coming here regularly, and finally got a chalet. So there was my dad, and Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, and Peter Sellers who had a chalet here too,

Rawat wouldn't get a look in, not unless they wanted him there as an ongoing joke. We're talking Europe here, just paying the £25k anti isn't what gets you in - darling it's whether you have the style to join the club. For the Gstaad crowd, Rawat, no matter how many millions he has, is strictly 'low rent'.

Look I'm sorry if I'm just not getting the joke again but Prem Rawat would actually be allowed to walk right past the front door of the Eagle Club. I know that must be true because I have and nobody threatened me though it was 5am and the Polizei did question me a bit later as to why I was wandering around so early in the morning when I didn't look rich.

There is a very nice camping ground at Gstaad which is quite cheap and very few trains run on the line which passed a few metres from my tent. The area is lovely with great sight-seeing and hiking and all that other alpine stuff and Saanen is a kilometer away and considerably cheaper. I do admit though that Gstaad is the only town in which I've seen a corn-cob pipe for sale for 700 Swiss Franks ($1000) but then a Perfect Master would never smoke, it's such a cheap and disgusting habit.

You didn't get the joke? Really? Are you thick? Are you trying to take the piss out of me?

"100 yards" is of course not meant to be taken literally. Maybe rawat could sneak in at 5 AM, big deal what does that mean? Nothing obviously. What I actually meant of course, is that rawat would not have a chance in hell of joining the Eagle Ski Club. I'm talking about walking into the place in broad daylight to eat lunch, legitimately as a member or even as a guest of a member - maybe, just maybe if he bribed someone with a ton of money, maybe he could get in but I doubt it. Get in on his own merits? Never.

I wasn't talking about sneaking in for a quick look at 5 AM before the cops noticed him. Is that what you think I meant? Did you even read the article I linked? It stated clearly that the only way to join the club is to be invited in. It's exclusive and low budget, grade B, nouveau riche, wannabee, whatevers aren't allowed in. Even Dave Roupell close friend of the royals can't get in there. LOL
