I attended some introductory Knowledge sessions for aspirants and lost interest over time, because Maharaji never came to town for initiations.  His followers kept saying I needed to prove myself with a "thirst" but lets get real ..... waiting for over a year is too long!!!  Maharaji isn't the only teacher for meditation!!!  Does this forum put Maharishi in the same league as Maharaji?  I know that John Lennon got fed up with Maharishi after a while but could it have been a misunderstanding?  It seems like Maharishi's guru, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, was an authentic spiritual master.  But it is hard to tell is Maharishi is teaching the same things.  One thing that the swami did not do is charge money for mantras. 

Can anyone enlighten me on TM and Maharishi?  also, do you think Maharaji is similar in that his teacher was real, but he departed from the original teachings to make money?
