at 20 weeks gals and so far Mum and baby doing ok.

The medical team who are lloking after them will deliver the baby a month early if all goes to plan, so that ist is not so much of a burden on Mums heart, yet trying to give baby as long as possible for the lungs.

Mum will then go down to IC unit and baby we hope will be ok but will go to special care i think.

They are sending a top consultant specialst from London to deliver as its so rare for the Mum to have this condition, and i guess with all that she has gone through.

so far so good, keep up the prayers!

How is she doing emotionally?  How is ds doing with all of this?  I am so glad to hear this--you must be very relieved!

has the mental health nurse assigned to her and she has been put on medication that will not harm the baby they say.I think she is very up and dowan as ever. DS is moving to live with her in Scotland i personally dont feel its a good move but they have to do their own thing, its much warmer here etc. he is having to give up work to look after her and baby when it arrives, thats a tough one as we are very much work orintated family but sometimes there is no other choice, how he will do with that i dont know.

He will have to work as he has never before in different ways.

YAY!!!

How cool that they are sending a top consultant from london, so you know she's in good hands even out in the boondocks!

Once they have made it this far, they have a baby that has good possibilites, even at this point.  I had a 20 week baby in 1974, she was so tiny, and back then they didn't save babies that tiny.  She died at birth.  But today amazing things are done with the tiniest babies... every day from here out is a gift to help that little one be stronger and stronger....  it sounds hopeful!!!

Have they done an ultra sound, and do they know if it's a boy or girl?

Keeping ya'll on the temple prayer roll.... although I had to move it to Portland this time, as the Seattle temple is closed for a whole MONTH!!!! Way too long!
