Look at LDS scripture again, if you want. There isn't a single comment about homosexuality contained in them. The BOM makes one reference to Sodom, but it doesn't describe the nature of sodom or its sin. You would have to turn to the Bible to learn more about it. What you are dealing with is tradition, thats all. Many scholars and theologians are questioning what sin was actually offensive in gods eyes. I don't believe it was homosexuality at all. Don't be fooled into believing that being gay=having an overly active sex life. Its totally possible to be gay and have just one partner, or even live without sex at all. Whats worst is that strait people with an agenda have made up this doctrine of homosexuality as being evil. They allow themselves to have relationships and get married. Why are they expecting gays to reform for live another life? |
