"Peolpe will complain about anything. They didn't get their way, wah wah.
I don't know their personal circumstance. So I won't go there." You already went there. The truth is, and no disrespect meant, but you can no more prove that you art predates the BeeGees than the member you mentioned earlier that claimed to 'move away' could prove he left. I mean, let's just go on the assumption that oom yung doe is a 1500 year old martial art. You take someone who leaves a contract to court and say he needs to pony up, he says 'I paid for the 1500 year old royal line, they never taught me any of it', you can't prove he's wrong, because you have no historical documentation to back it up, and not one chinese historian has come forward to connect your style to royalty. So, if you get experts involved, good luck, since the vast majority of the martial arts world, and this is from experiences with well known chinese, korean, and american martial artists, do not believe your style existed before the korean war, much less 1500 years ago. YOUR experts won't be good witnesses, because any good lawyer would say an OYD instructor is biased, and still proof would be required. I mean, how can you get upset at someone leaving your contracts under false pretenses when you can't even prove that you're not teaching under a false lineage? Even assuming your style is legitimate, there is still not one piece of paper or tablet that suggests there was anything like your system before 1960. Not one. And you are contracted to teach the 1500 year old system of royalty. So, how can you expect honesty when, for all imtents and purposes, you appear to be selling something you don't have? |
