Here's a thought fo you. Grow up , get a life. You guys are here day in and day out talking down about Oom Yung Doe schools, instructors and movements. If Oom Yung Doe is so weak and insignificant then why is that all you seem to talk about. The only way you can justify yourselves for no longer being in the Oom Yung Doe line is to twist everything around and make yourselves believe that the school did you wrong or cheated you. You say time and time again how you are stronger or better than Oom Yung Doe but you give absolutely nothing to back that up. There have been several invitations to stop in to the schools, or post pictures, or put forth video documentaion to prove your case, yet you do nothing but cuss, whine and call names. The fact is, it's not what you say you can do, but what you demonstrate you can do. I could say I'm the Jolly Green Giant but, I obviously can't prove that so how can you possibly take that as truth. And though I admire your ability to hold a childish grudge for so long and still manage to find a basis for arguement, but let's face it, it sounds like you're just envious. it sounds like you're jealous that the white belts and beginning students are now getting into stronger movements and forms than you did in 1, 2 or even 5 years of practice. Did it ever occur to you that if it took you 5 years to reach even a rank of 5th section that you were maybe too lazy to practice correctly and put the proper focus & concentration into your practice? I think you're just upset that you have missed your opportunity to learn a much deeper understanding and stronger ability in traditonal martial arts. So I say to you, until you actually put up and prove what you so vehemently claim then sit down and shut up because you're just embarrassing yourselves. You guys talk and talk, but as soon as you're given the opportunity to prove yoursleves you get all upset, lose your temper, and go on a rampage saying "f" this and "f" that, which goes against some of the key principles of any style of martial arts. What ever happened to self control, self discipline and respect. I truly hope that one day you wake up and realize that all this is pointless. Why waste so much time and energy over some childish grudge. If you're happy training in the style or school you're training in then why focus so much energy on badmouthing a school you used to train at. Why not just focus on what every person involved in martial arts is out to accomplish, improving themselves. Sincerely, Jared Nelson - 6th section, Minnesota.
