Our new site taiwanmilitary.org should be accessible to most, if not all. If you are still having problem accessing it, please post a message here at the old forum.
Anyboard was installed successfully. I am doing some tests and configuration changes right now. If everything goes well, the new forum should be up by Monday.
On the down side, the free Anyboard license we have now does not allow backup/restore of user information and forum messages. That means we will have to start everything from scratch unless we upgrade to at least a bronze license ($110).
Since we can keep the old forum up as an archive, it is not absolutely necessary to restore everything at the new forum. However, we will still have to register our user IDs again.
Alternately, if we can live with starting the new forum from scratch, there are a lot of free and full-featured forum scripts that can be used. First candidate in my mind would be ikonboard.
Right now, I'm going to proceed using the free license while checking out other scripts. If you have any idea, please feel free to post here or email me.
