So Kidd class ships aare oone group of eexotic items. And Kidd class ships are going to be aquired. Subs are a source of uncertainty(probably a matter of when and which type)- we know that, too.
What about everything else that was approved for sale? Like M109A6? AAV7A1? How did the things associated with these items go?
Speaking of AAV7A1, I'm abusing my imagination again.
Would RoCMC be needing an amphibious tank? How feasible is it to mount a light tank turret onto a AAV7A1 hull? If it is feasible, how big of a calibre should be mounted?(judging from previous posts about wheeled and tracked AFV, maybe 76mm or 90mm?) Or are those armed with RR and probably TOW enough for RoCMC's requirement?
I remember having a discussion with TMF members about AAV7A1 a while ago, discussing probable artillery versions of AAV7A1(those armed with 105mm howitzer and those armed with MRLS- just like the modifications RoCMC did to some LVTP-5 vehicles). Mirage commented that he recommendation would depend on RoCMC's requirement- if RoCMC is to push toward inland after landing, he would recommend Caeser SPH. Does anyone now have different opinions or something to add?

I myself, really have no idea what the RoCMC is supposed to do. For instance, if they are to reinforce RoCA units, will they be backing them up from the land or sea?
Caesar SPH (faster than M109 if there are roads, probably could land more of them in a LCU since they're lighter than M109), I guess would be only useful if RoCMC needs to move pretty far inland. Otherwise, the current RoCMC M109s should be just fine. Of course, if you're going to be landing Caesars, it's going to have to be a very lightly defended beach. Caesar probably has no real role in RoCMC unless they want to just carry a few more howitzers in LST in place of M109s.
