potential TW-India link
Boeing has recieved US govt approval to provide info to India for possible sale of the Czech L159 trainer/light attack aircraft. Boeing purchased a major share in Aero Vodochody. This may presumably replace the on again off again Hawk sale to India. That would bring lots of work to AIDC who manufacture half of the F124 engine and are responsible for final assembly.
Speaking of trainer powerd by a single F124
What's the max. size of the aircraft that a single F125 (10,000+lb to new RoCAF standard) is able to propell to Mach 1.5? I'm thinking of a real cheap LIFT alternative to simplified IDF, like a souped up, streamlined L159. Maybe even a single-seat derivative as fighter for some 3rd-world AF & war/druglords. Hard to compete against J-7 though.
like a reengined F5??
thats got 10K thrust and goes to M 1.5!
