During my recent visit here i've noticed constant 'beginner' scam attempts, the majority of them easily noticeable.

Anyway, on to my point, you more 'knowledgable' people will know that Runescape is written and programmed in Java with there servers using an advanced version of Linux: RedHat. During a college programming project we were asked to write a successful program with the ability to bypass system and/or network SQL and JS codes. Of course at the time I never even knew about Runescape so I programmed a very basic system staller which, whilst the system was stalled on this 'hacked' network it allowed you to view (only view) user files of college students.

I failed, the lecturer said it was a failure, probably because it was dangerous to the college network, anyway, with a 'failed' program I was more determined than ever to make something successful and started to look for something to program, at first I began programming a trainer for Battlefield 1942 but got bored of the game, by this time i'd started playing Runescape. The first time I started Runescape, a Java COnsole window opened with all the information on how RS works, well, how the Java Applet (the actual game) sends signals to the servers.

I wrote a small program which could 'attack' the Runescape servers, stalling them, giving me access to them, I then had to work on another way to send signals to the server which would send items back to my account. Every item in Runescape has a single ID# and, whilst logged in to the actual game, i'd learn't that I could actually send myself items that I knew codes for. The hex code for leather gloves is 10 00 so I tested it and sent myself 1 pair of leather gloves which after logging off, then back on they appeared in my inventory.

The process will only take around 1-2 hours, maximum, although I do recommend you try logging in to your accopper during the process, if your items aren't there, simply log out then back in again.
