ONC RPC

I just got a used Intrepid 2001 2.7L ES...nice car in awesome condition, never noticed any white smoke coming from the exahust has 80,000 miles...But it runs so quiet...you can't even tell it's running.

The oil pressure light would come on when you come to stop lights and then just this morning the check engine light came on...were taking it to the dealer as we speak. We got an extended "gold" warrenty with Chrysler but it sounds like that doesn't matter. We have only had the care 1 week....I have always wanted one of these new intrepids...one of the best body styles on the road to date I think...why can't they build a better engine, do you think if it does go bad we can have a 3.5L installed instead? would that work?
