I refuse to get mine fixed.  I bought it on April 9th with 77064km on it.  Timing chain went on April 29th with 78399km on it.  I took it to Canadian Tire to get fixed.... wow what a mess (and I know a fair amount about cars).  It's a lot to fix so I told them to put everything in the trunk and tonight I'm towing it to Triple Seven (dealer ship in Regina).  To get a warranty thing done on the consul shifter (when I had talked to the Service Manager there he told me there was this outstanding recall)  When I asked them about getting the motor fixed by Chrystler for free he said it was out of warranty and there was nothing that they could do and never heard about the trouble..... but the Canadian Tire Service Manager had gone over there a day before to get the Mitchell manual from them and they had told him they have had to fix 5 or so of these engines.  When I asked the Service Manager when the Regional Rep who be into the dealership so I could talk to him he told me that there wasn't one, the previous person left? or got promoted? or ????.
If they give me no answers to fixing this for free, I will be making a sign up, parking the Intrepid in front of the dealer ship warning everyone who calls me.
Of course I will park it legally!!!!
