Yes it is very true' You should have at least 10k mikes ( After Break In ) to start using Synthetic.

I like AMS oil, Mobil1 or Castrol Syntec!

Yes Synthetics can tend to seep through warn seals.But I found that not to happen till you have over 170K miles .

I am a Race car engine rebuilter and swear by synthetics!

Like I said, I have over 200k on both my 2.7's and all my friends who use these brands Synthetics have NOT had a engine Sludge problem.
